Book Summary
Living Wicca is a comprehensive guide designed for solitary practitioners seeking to deepen their Wiccan practice. Building upon the foundation laid in Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner, this book emphasizes personal empowerment and self-guided spiritual development. Cunningham encourages readers to create their own rituals, prayers, and traditions, asserting that “the only true authority in Wicca is the authority that you bestow upon yourself.” The book covers various topics, including the development of a personal ethical system, understanding and working with deities, meditation, visualization, and energy work. It also provides practical advice on creating a Book of Shadows, self-initiation, and integrating Wicca into daily life. Cunningham’s approach is inclusive and flexible, making Wicca accessible to individuals regardless of their background or experience level.
